Kristy Miller

Office Manager

Electives Coordinator

Kristy earned her associates from Community College of Rhode Island with highest honors and then transferred to Bryant College to pursue a degree in International Business, which was interrupted when children came along.  She is married to a Wycliffe missionary kid, Nate Miller, and they are members of Carmel Baptist Church in Matthews, NC where they have served on the Marriage Ministry Team & led Crown Financial Bible studies.  Kristy has served by co-leading post-abortion Bible studies at CareNet Rhode Island and through the Voice for Life Ministry, and also as a Sales Administrator and most recently as a Sales and Service Representative at the Siskey YMCA (certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED), and she has also homeschooled her four youngest children.  Her natural talents will fill a need for Arborbrook in her position as Office Manager and Electives Coordinator.  Kristy feels her heart is at home at Arborbrook and she is looking forward to serving Jesus through serving the Arborbrook families.
Michelle Beamer

Business Manager

Michelle is married to Robby and together they have three kids. Hannah is a senior at East Carolina University, Will is a freshman at Central Piedmont Community College and Haley is a 5th grader here at Arborbrook. She has a love for children and has served in different capacities at Arborbrook-as a parent and volunteer, as the office manager, and now as the business manager.  Michelle has worked in a realty office, and served as a children’s ministry coordinator and office manager for a local church.  In her free time she enjoys reading and scrap booking and spending time at the beach.
Rhonda Reynolds

Director of Development

Rhonda received a BS in psychology and a minor in Outdoor Education at Georgia College and State university.  After six months in Thailand with Campus Outreach, she accepted the invitation to go on staff with them in Birmingham, AL.  Her initiation into fundraising began with raising support for her salary and revealed a gift and passion for “friendraising.”  Working for Congressman Spencer Bachus’ re-election campaign and public relations with Alabama Family Alliance led to a development director job with First Priority, a Christian club on school campuses.  She went on to work for Champion Events Group training fundraising teams for Christian schools and ministries.  Mrs. Reynolds has a total of 14 years fundraising and development experience, working largely with non-profit organizations and Christian schools, which have left her with a passion to network people, meeting gifts with needs, and to build relationships in community.  She has a heart to learn and serve and is humbled to be a part of what The Lord wants to do this year.
Andrea Robson

Assistant to the Head of School

Culinary Arts Teacher

As a current writer for a recipe blog, Andrea has learned the importance of communication within the community.  Through her work, she has taught cooking classes to children of all ages, with the local YMCA, and at Arborbrook Christian Academy.  The social media world has intertwined with her work, which led to the contribution of time to local TV news stations and an external magazine providing cooking ideas.  All of her creative passions, both writing and cooking, are credited to the many years shared with her grandmother. Andrea has two daughters, Hannah and Ella, who attend Arborbrook, and her husband Jim who travels all over the US with a career in health employee software sales.
Jennifer Grimes

PVC Coordinator

As someone who said she would never drive a mini-van, have more than one child, or homeschool, Jennifer is blessed and proud to say she now has 3 kids (Sarah, Molly, and Elliot who attend Arborbrook), proudly drives a Honda van, and has homeschooled her girls in the past; she has learned never to say never to the Lord, because, “the heart of man plans his way but the Lord establishes his steps.” Jennifer grew up in the D.C. area and then attended Asbury University where she met her husband, Wade and received a degree in English and Art History. She also has a degree in Interior Design from Appalachian State University. Organizing, planning, and being involved in the Arborbrook community are some of her favorite things, so the PVC Coordinator position at Arborbrook is a perfect fit.
Scott Tyson

Athletic Director

Scott played baseball at Northwood University in Michigan, and then moved to Lansing, Michigan and began working as a youth volunteer at Trinity Church where he felt God’s call to enter ministry as a vocation.  In the fall of 2000, he returned to school at Spring Arbor University to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries.  He was studying to become a youth pastor but changed to sports ministry and then moved to Charlotte, NC and began working as the CHAMP Sports Director at Calvary Church where he remained until 2007.  Scott then started Legacy Sports through Southbrook Church, a sports ministry that seeks “to integrate sports fundamentals with life principles and Biblical truths.”  Legacy Sports is now a non-profit community sports program with a ministry focus that is partnered with multiple local churches and schools in the Union County area.  Aside from continuing to grow Legacy Sports, Scott also has a heart to see more churches embrace sports as a necessary and viable outreach ministry.  Scott and his wife Janna were married in 2001 and currently have 4 children.
